Every pair of prescription Waterhaul's include a 100% recycled PET lens cloth and folding cork hard case, and is carefully packed in 100% recyclable, plastic-free packaging.
Prescription orders will take 1-2 weeks to fulfil and as the lenses are custom made to order they are not eligible for returns.
Our frames are built with our 100% recycled Traceable Marine Plastic (polypropylene) that we have recovered and recycled in the UK. For every frame you can trace the exact locations of where the plastic for your batch was recovered from.
Polypropylene is a lightweight, durable polymer, commonly used in fishing gear such as ropes, bait bags and mooring lines.
In the marine environment it poses a major entanglement threat to marine life, but its recovered and recycled form, it's a strong plastic suited to a very broad range of uses, and helps to give our frames a flexibility that, when heated, allows you to make adjustments to your frames at home.
You're not just buying a pair of sunglasses. Every Waterhaul product sold directly enables the expansion of our fishing gear recovery and recycling efforts, and creates a demand for even more plastic to be removed from the ocean.
I am extremely hard on sunglasses so it will be interesting to see whether these ones "go the distance". So far they are great. Perfect fit and sitting comfortably just above the ears.
I love these! I was a little hesitant about buying sunglasses online without trying them on first, especially with this melon of a head I am working with, but these not only fit amazing they are solid and feel very durable. Plus you feel good about wearing recycled materials! Living on the East coast I can enjoy the intense sunrises we get with the polarized frames while not worrying about water damaging them at my local break. I've been telling all of my friends and family about Waterhaul and plan on picking up any more new products they put out.

Great fit and fab glasses
Great sunglasses. Light, robust, the UV protection works well. Easy to wear and can be pushed up onto my head without snagging in my hair

Look and feel great
These look great and fit well. The size guides on the website were useful in helping me compare to my current glasses so I knew the fit should be ok. The colour of the frames is more a grey than black (not a problem, but is a little lighter than I expected from the photo). Really like the ethos behind this product.
Bought these as a replacement for sunglasses that I lost. The recycled element really appealed and they are great in full sunshine. No glare, look good and make you feel better about the environment. Would recommend the service was easy to follow and fast.

Just back from a week in the Alps skiing itinaires and piste. Glasses are a great fit and protection from the sun as well as a talking point. Highly recommended. A great company and ethos that deserves support.
Solid frames and quality lenses
My partner and I love our new sunnies!! The customer service was brilliant as well. I've adjusted my sunnies myself following the guidance they come with. And I LOVE the closed circuit loop and fact they're recycled and will be further recycled at the end of their life. Also, they feel great, the material has a lovely soft finish to it.
Bought as I dropped my previous 19 year old Oakley in the sea whilst kayaking. Looks like these might last as long!
Thrilled with the product and even more with the concept. They do slip backwards off the top of my head a bit easily but when worn properly they look and feel great.

I've bought so many sunglasses over the years, but these are by far the best ones I've bought! I have quite a small face, yet these fit perfectly, the tone of the lenses is spot on, you almost forget you are wearing glasses and last, but definitely not least, where the materials have been sourced is just remarkable!

I was drawn to you products because of your ethos. I am trying to live more sustainably and your sunglasses were just the ticket. I struggle to find glasses that suit me or fit so I was apprehensive about buying before I had tried. When they arrived they looked great but they didn't fit. I was devastated until I spotted the QR code on the inlay card which showed me how to adjust them. I took them with me on a week's walking holiday in Wales and they were perfect. So comfortable and didn't fall off my face once. I am in love with them. Awesome product!

I haven't bought expensive glasses before and was nervous about buying online. We love the sea though and I was drawn to the recycling and eco credentials of waterhaul. We love Cornwall too and supporting ethical uk businesses . So I decided to go for it anc bought the crantock glasses . So glad I did - the lenses are great and I do think they would suit most (all?) faces. The cork glasses case is fab too
I'm really happy with my new sunglasses overall! They seem to protect my eyes from glare really well while also being lightweight and comfy to wear. The style is definitely kind of sporty, which is not my preference, but I'm still really happy with them as they are great for driving and outdoor activities. My boyfriend bought a pair too and they actually look better on him! I'd love to see a few more "fashion" styles with larger lenses in the future as that would be my first choice for everyday wear. But for now I'm happy with this pair and so glad to support a great eco-friendly company!
